Dr. Mo Anderson, founder of the Austin, Texas based group ABNA(Austin's Black Newcomers Association) hosted a seminar on LinkedIn at the Carver Library whose featured speaker was Kai Dupe of Kai Dupe Media and Where are Blacks in Technology blogtalk radio show. The place was bursting at the seams with people eager to learn how to maximize their social media efforts to bring a better visibility to their networking profiles.

There also was a guest speaker Christie Dawson, a Recruiting Manager at Evolv, Inc. who spoke on tips and advantages of using the tool to bolster your career. She also is an avid user of LinkedIn for her professional daily life.
